WHAT WE DO

Caring for Creswell kids is a community based non profit organization dedicated to helping kids. Our mission is to provide basic needs at critical times. Clothing, shoes, school supplies, and basic everyday items are something that need to be available on any given day for the kids in our schools. We work with advocates in the Creswell School District who are up to date on what the needs of the students are. Our idea for Caring for Creswell Kids came to us in December 2013. We were able to help 12 children and provide new and gently used clothes. We were able to provide these children with new shoes, socks, undergarments, and even a special wrapped gift. After we delivered the items, we all looked at each other and said “We can’t stop.” We continue to help our local kids with donations and financial support from community members and local businesses. We have a closet at Creslane Elementary school that is stocked with clothes, shoes, and other necessities. We currently have sizes from newborn through a youth 14.

HOW TO HELP

We are always looking for donations of new or gently used kids clothing, shoes, and school supplies. Check the monthly challenge above to see what we are in need of most. We also accept monetary donations, this helps us to be able to buy items that are in great need if they have not already been donated. You can click the link below to donate online, or you can send a check in the mail to Creswell Church of Christ - P.O. Box 365 - Creswell, OR 97426.
